“I have been appointed as a Public Relations Ambassador for the Overseas Koreans Agency,” she shared. “I am sincerely grateful to be entrusted with such a meaningful role.”

The star reflected on her deep roots in the Philippines, explaining that her formative years spent living abroad allowed her to develop a deep empathy and connection for the global Korean diaspora.

“Having lived in the Philippines for many years, I have come to understand and feel close to the hearts of overseas Koreans, which makes this opportunity even more meaningful to me,” she said.

Looking ahead, Park pledged to utilize her massive global platform to foster closer ties between expatriate communities and South Korea.

“Going forward, I will do my best to serve as a bridge connecting overseas Koreans and the Republic of Korea. Thank you!” she said.

Park initially captured the hearts of Filipino audiences in 2004 as a breakout finalist on ABS-CBN’s talent search Star Circle Quest. After building a successful career in local entertainment, she returned to South Korea, where she debuted in 2009 as a member of the legendary K-pop group 2NE1.
