Seven Filipino musical acts have bagged nominations at Brazil’s BreakTudo Awards 2026, marking another significant milestone for the global expansion of Pinoy Pop (P-pop) and Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

The annual Brazilian awards event, which honors top achievements across music, television, entertainment, and digital culture, named BINI, SB19, BGYO, HORI7ON, Cup of Joe, Arthur Nery, and Rob Deniel among this year’s contenders.

Pop group BINI leads the local pack with three nominations, competing for International Female Group and International Music Video of the Year for their hit track “Sweet Tooth.” Their official fan base, the Blooms, also earned a nod for International Fandom of the Year.

SB19 matched the tally with three nods of their own. The boy band is nominated for International Male Group and International Collaboration of the Year for “Emoji,” their joint project with JOLIN. Their supporters, A’TIN, are likewise up for International Fandom of the Year.

BGYO gathered two nods, securing spots in the Asian Artist and International Anthem of the Year categories, the latter for their single “Forever Tonight.”

Meanwhile, HORI7ON and indie band Cup of Joe are both vying for International Artist on the Rise. Soloists Rob Deniel and Arthur Nery were nominated for Asian Artist and Global Artist, respectively.

Founded in 2016, the BreakTudo Awards has progressively expanded its scope to showcase international talent, offering Latin American exposure to artists worldwide.

Public voting opened on September 17 and runs through October 17. The winners will be revealed during the official ceremony on November 24 in São Paulo, Brazil.
