Filipinos continue to place their trust in TV5 for news coverage regarding events across the Philippines, according to the Q2 PAHAYAG survey conducted by Publicus Asia from June 28 to 30 among 1,509 respondents.
The Kapatid Network secured a 26% trust rating among television stations, placing second to GMA Network’s 41% and ahead of Net 25’s 18%.
The survey highlighted key News5 offerings that drive public trust, including its flagship primetime newscast Frontline Pilipinas, alongside Una Sa Lahat, Gud Morning Kapatid, Frontline Express, Frontline Tonight, Frontline Pilipinas Weekend, and Presinto 5. Additionally, TV5’s extended media platforms—FM radio station 105.9 TrueFM and pay TV news channels One PH, TrueTV, and One News—contributed to the network’s strong credibility.
TV5 and News5 reaffirmed their commitment to delivering thoroughly researched, detailed, and well-scrutinized news to foster informed discussions among Filipinos.
