Following its recent midyear trade event, TV5 has announced a roster of upcoming broadcasts beginning this August.
Headlining the updated schedule is the network’s morning broadcast, “Frontline sa Umaga.” Airing weekdays at 5:30 AM, the program features veteran broadcast journalist Ed Lingao alongside returning morning hosts Dimples Romana, Malou David, Chiqui Roa-Puno, Angela Languzad-Castro, and Andrei Felix, who previously anchored “Gud Morning Kapatid.”
The network also spotlighted its updated music countdown program “Vibe±,” which marked its one-year milestone on Saturday, August 15.
Joining the afternoon slot starting Monday, August 24 at 4:00 PM is Regal Entertainment’s romantic-comedy series “Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss.” The show, which original debuted on GMA-7, stars Bianca Umali, Ken Chan, and Kelvin Miranda.
Additionally, TV5 is set to bring back ABS-CBN Studios’ magazine show “Rated Korina,” with its premiere date to be confirmed later.
The network also previewed a romantic-comedy series titled “Mommy Guard,” featuring ’90s screen partners Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal, scheduled to air before “Eat… Bulaga!” on a date yet to be specified.
