The Philippines’ premier OPM music countdown, VIBE, marked Father’s Day with an emotional lineup of performances dedicated to hardworking dads.

The show opened with the VIBE Jocks and GEN Vs delivering an energetic rendition of “Superhero,” followed by a heartwarming segment where the hosts sang their own fathers’ favorite OPM classics. Dylan covered “Ako’y Sa’yo, Ika’y Akin Lamang” for his dad Deo Menor, while Carmela performed “Nobela” for Romeo Lorzano Jr.
The atmosphere turned deeply emotional as Ana Ramsey sang “You Are My Song” for Hernie Ramsey and Ryle Santiago performed “Kailangan Kita” for Chris Tan. Joao Constancia wrapped up the tribute on a high note with Bernardo Constancia Jr.’s favorite track, “Mga Kababayan.”

The parental celebration continued with the VIBE Spot featured artists, viral father-daughter duo Monica Bianca and Renie Boy, who performed Rey Valera’s “Tayong Dalawa.”
Reflecting on their bond, Monica Bianca shared a touching message for her dad:
“Sobrang proud po ako na ikaw yung naging papa ko and Salamat sa sacrifices mo sa amin. And sana po, ‘wag ka pong magsasawa na intindihin kaming magkakapatid.”
Renie Boy expressed his surprise and gratitude over their sudden online fame and the massive support they have received.
Meanwhile, the Uprising Star of the Week went to the rising P-Pop boy group NXTGEN, who secured the title with 50.73% of the votes and performed their latest track, “Kinikilig Ako Sa’Yo.” The group admitted feeling a mix of excitement and nerves while expressing their gratitude for the Uprising stage.

For the OG Star of the Week segment, prime actress and singer Agot Isidro teamed up with VIBE Jock Dylan for a nostalgic performance of her classic hits, “Sa Isip Ko” and “Everyday.”
Isidro also reminisced about her recent reunion with star maker Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, recalling how he first discovered her.
The competition heated up on the Main VIBE leaderboard with performances from the top-voted tracks. Jenzen Guino claimed the 4th spot with “Sanderiana,” sharing that he is currently enjoying his journey as a singer-songwriter.

Snagging the 3rd spot were El Manu and Jessy Kang with their performance of “Listahan,” expressing their dreams of playing for even larger audiences.
Holding strong at the number one spot was the P-Pop girl group G22 with their hit “Groove On.” The group teased surprises for their upcoming concert, “The Eve of an Alpha,” happening on July 12 at the New Frontier Theater, noting that they are heavily focused on vocal and physical conditioning.
Before introducing its latest segment, the GEN Vs treated viewers to a cover of Sponge Cola’s “Bitiw.” VIBE then officially launched “Legit VIBE,” a new segment dedicated to honoring timeless OPM artists. Iconic rock band Sponge Cola served as the inaugural guests, performing their landmark hits “Jeepney” and “Hinintay.”

Reflecting on their enduring career, the band emphasized that beyond streaming milestones, their ultimate achievement remains their unbreakable brotherhood.
