The Philippines’ ultimate fan-powered music countdown show, VIBE, delivered a massive tribute to the nation’s workforce last Saturday with its special “WERKIN’ 9 TO VIBE” episode. The celebration honored Filipino workers pursuing their passions, featuring high-energy performances and a star-studded lineup at the MVP Studios.

The OPM festivities kicked off with the VIBE JOCKS and Gen Vs performing a medley of worker-themed hits, including “Time In,” “We Made It,” “Ilusyon,” “Luha,” “Kayod Kabayo, Kayod Barya,” and “Kayod, Kayod.” A highlight of the opening was a surprise guest appearance by OPM icon Noel Cabangon. The show also took a moment to salute its own hardworking crew, including the production, utility, and security teams behind the scenes.

Adding to the excitement, Sam Concepcion made a surprise appearance, stepping in as a special guest co-host for the night.
SPOTLIGHT ON RISING STARS AND ICONS
In the “VIBE SPOT” segment, rising star Bianca Denise serenaded the audience with her single “Maaga.” She then passed the torch to the Isla Maharlika Band, this week’s featured VIBE SPOT artists, who energized the theater with a reggae-infused cover of Celeste Legaspi’s classic “Mamang Sorbetero.”

The show also welcomed its first-ever Eat Bulaga host to the VIBE stage, the legendary Allan K, who performed “Ang Ganda Ganda Ko.”
“I think palagi kang nakangit, lagi kang masaya, at laging maganda ang iyong VIBE,” Allan K shared as her secret to staying beautiful. “Kahit may problema ka, wala kang Karapatan umiyak, umisngit, or maglungkot-lungkutan, smile.”
