It was a night full of earworms and nostalgia as VIBE showcased the country’s biggest Last Song Syndrome (LSS) hits.
The musical extravaganza kicked off with an energetic opening performance by VIBE Jocks Ana Ramsey and Dylan. Joining them on stage were special guests Gigi De Lana and Bugoy Drilon, who delivered a soulful medley of “Muli,” “Kahit Konting Pagtingin,” “Sayang,” and “Yakap.”

Reflecting on the enduring appeal of local music, Bugoy noted that Filipinos easily catch the LSS bug because of OPM’s catchy melodies and emotional relatability. Meanwhile, Gigi expressed her excitement to be back on the VIBE stage.
The episode also served as a birthday celebration for the energetic Ana Ramsey, who took a moment to thank her loyal fans, the “VHIES,” for their unwavering support.

The nostalgia went up a notch during the “OG” segment, headlined by Jukeboss Queen Eva Eugenio. She performed her timeless hits “Pag-ibig Na Walang Dangal” and the iconic “Tukso,” alongside a special collaboration with GEN V’s Carmela for “Sige, Malaya Ka Na.” Eva credited her career longevity entirely to the fans who keep singing her classics.

Making a historic comeback on the show was the true pioneer of modern P-Pop, One Forty-Three. Reuniting after an 11-year hiatus, the group performed their smash hit “Isang Sulyap Mo.”
Looking back, the members recalled how difficult it was to introduce the genre years ago when P-Pop wasn’t widely recognized, and expressed immense joy seeing the local pop scene thrive today. The group hopes this reunion marks the beginning of more shows together.
For the “VIBE Spot” segment, the TML Crew returned with a high-octane performance before passing the torch to this week’s featured artist, Transpinay rapper Catalea. The TML Crew revealed their next goal is hitting 4 million views on YouTube, while Catalea shared a piece of advice, noting that everyone’s career has its own perfect timing and peak.

The energy remained high on the “Main VIBE” stage as rising star Queen Money reunited with Lil Jay to perform “Loka Loka,” which currently holds the number two spot on the charts. Thrilled that her track has become a certified LSS hit, Queen Money kept it real when asked how crazy she gets when it comes to romance.
“Bakla ako magmahal yun lang yun!” she said.
Meanwhile, the “Uprising Universe” segment featured the top breakthrough act, Xonara. Dominated by a whopping 44.52% of public votes, they performed their pre-debut track “TABI.” Fueled by the overwhelming love of their fans, the group promised to stay true to themselves and continuously elevate their craft.

Claiming the coveted number one spot on the “Main VIBE” chart was Fitterkarma, fresh off their Spotify Tatak Pinoy Live stint. Making a stellar VIBE stage debut with their song “Kalapastangan,” the band admitted they never expected this level of support. They jokingly called out casual listeners, teasing that it is a disservice to the local music scene to ignore homegrown talent.
Closing the star-studded evening was another legendary “OG” act, The Rainmakers, who treated the audience to their classic masterpiece, “Binibini.”
The trio expressed deep gratitude to everyone who requested their appearance, citing the enduring love of their fans as the ultimate secret to their long-lasting career.
Fans can catch more OPM jamming sessions on VIBE, airing daily from Monday to Sunday on TV5, One PH, True TV, and Kapatid Channel, as well as via live streaming on TV5 and VIBE’s official social media pages. Voting for Main VIBE and Uprising remains open until June 11 at 11:59 AM.
