The high-profile update, unveiled on June 25, 2026, also introduced an impressive wave of veteran casting additions and a unique multimedia music project designed to fuel momentum ahead of the winter season.
Veteran Voice Actors Join the Lineup
The upcoming series is set to feature a star-studded ensemble of industry mainstays. Reprising their roles from previous promotional shorts are lead voice actors Sayumi Suzushiro, who voices the titular Mai Chihara, and Kazuki Ura, who takes on the role of Kuroki.
To expand the school’s social circle, the committee announced three celebrated figures joining the supporting cast. Maaya Uchida, widely recognized for her performance in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, has been cast as Chinatsu Iwakura. Renowned voice actor Tomokazu Sugita, the iconic voice behind Gintama, joins the roster as Hibiya, while industry giant Daisuke Ono, famous for his portrayal of Jotaro Kujo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, will bring the character of Kazami to life.
