Several years after the House of Representatives denied ABS-CBN a new broadcast franchise, the network is once again filling its weekend schedule with a broader lineup of news, public-service, documentary, and magazine programs.
Beginning Sunday, September 6, ABS-CBN News’ business-oriented program “My Puhunan: Kaya Mo” will air at 3 p.m., with Karen Davila and Migs Bustos serving as hosts. It will be followed at 3:30 p.m. by Korina Sanchez-Roxas’ magazine program “Rated Korina.”
“Rated Korina” is also set to return to TV5 beginning Sunday, September 13, at 3:30 p.m.
ABS-CBN’s digital crime documentary series “Philippinesʼ Most Shocking Stories” will also be available on the network’s free-TV and cable platforms at 4:30 p.m. The hour will then lead into “TV Patrol Weekend” at 5 p.m.
Starting Saturday, September 12, viewers will also be able to catch reruns of Bernadette Sembrano’s ABS-CBN News public-service program “Tao Po!” at 4 p.m. It will be followed by the 15-minute news program “Philippinesʼ Most Oddest Jobs,” which originally premiered on the network’s digital platforms.
Another major addition to the Saturday schedule is the return of fresh episodes of ABS-CBN’s long-running crime-focused news program “S.O.C.O.” hosted by Gus Abelgas. New episodes will air beginning September 12 at 5 p.m.
“S.O.C.O.” will be followed by “TV Patrol Weekend” at 5:45 p.m., while “Ibang Level ‘To!” will air at 6:45 p.m.
The programs will be available across several ABS-CBN platforms, including Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, ABS-CBN sa ALLTV, and the network’s streaming service, iWant.
