GMA Public Affairs has officially introduced a fresh pairing to the spotlight, announcing on Saturday, April 25, that rising stars Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales will headline the upcoming romantic drama, “You’re My Favorite Song.”
The project marks a significant milestone for the duo, popularly known as “CapEath,” as they transition from their stints as Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0 housemates to becoming the network’s newest lead actors.
Joining them in this musical-themed romance is a supporting cast of fellow PBB alumni and Kapuso talents, including Marco Masa and John Clifford.
Acclaimed filmmaker JP Habac, celebrated for his work on the hit movie “I’m Drunk, I Love You,” is set to direct the series.
His involvement is expected to bring a distinct cinematic touch to the production, which is based on an original concept by Mark Ivan Caro.
The screenplay will be developed by the creative team responsible for successful GMA titles like “Black Rider” and “My Ilonggo Girl.”
Fans can look forward to the television debut of “You’re My Favorite Song,” which is scheduled to air on GMA Network later this year.
