GMA NETWORK CLIMBS TO WORLD NO. 13 IN DIGITAL VIDEO RANKINGS

Philippine media titan GMA Network Inc. is closing in on the global top 10 for digital media performance, reflecting a broader industry shift where broadcasters leverage social media scale to offset the fragmentation of traditional television audiences.

Jointly owned by the Duavit, Gozon, and Jimenez families, the broadcast giant surged to the No. 13 spot worldwide in Tubular Labs’ April 2026 leadership rankings, a significant leap from its previous 24th-place standing.

The network secured its new position after racking up a staggering 11.18 billion video views across its various online channels.

“As GMA Network’s growing reach across the global media landscape strengthens, it continues to produce world-class, relevant content that promises to draw high engagement among netizens,” GMA said in a statement on Friday.

A breakdown of the viewership data reveals that Instagram was the primary growth driver, pulling in five billion views. Facebook followed closely with 3.1 billion views, while TikTok and YouTube contributed 2.4 billion and 719 million views, respectively.

This upward trajectory, which the network has sustained since January, also solidifies GMA’s position as the highest-ranked media company in Southeast Asia under Tubular Labs’ Entertainment and Media category.
