TV5 has strengthened its news coverage with the launch of a unified News5 broadcast, bringing together the network’s two news programs, “Una Sa Lahat” and “Frontline Pilipinas,” beginning Monday, September 7.
The combined newscast features veteran journalists Julius Babao, Cheryl Cosim, and Jiggy Manicad, who deliver the latest developments on major national and international stories, including the ongoing impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte and efforts to hold accountable those allegedly involved in anomalous flood-control projects.
The program also covers other significant issues and events in the Philippines and abroad that could have an impact on the daily lives of Filipinos.
For entertainment updates, Jervi Wrightson provides the latest showbiz stories, while Alvin Pura delivers updates on weather conditions and forecasts.
The unified “Una Sa Lahat” and “Frontline Pilipinas” team aims to provide credible and timely news and information to help Filipinos make informed opinions and decisions on issues affecting the country.
The program airs Monday to Friday at 6:30 p.m., following “Minute To Win It” on TV5’s Todomax Primetime block. It is also simulcast on RPTV and One PH, while its radio broadcast can be heard on 105.9 True FM.
