TV5 MUSIC SHOW “VIBE+” FACES BACKLASH OVER ALLEGED UNPAID TALENTS

The TV5 music-countdown program “Vibe+” is reportedly entangled in a new wave of controversy after a suspected former performer posted a critical review online.

A social media user named “Brian Moreno” claimed on the official account of Vibe+ that their group performed during a Pride month segment for the show. However, Moreno alleged that they have yet to receive their compensation.

“Doesn’t pay their talents on time. We performed for one of their Pride segments and were promised an honorarium/talent fee a week after the shoot. It’s already been a month since; I’ve followed up countless times and they keep promising that they pay us soon, In a week’s time or – it’s either that or they don’t respond to my messages,” Moreno stated.

As of writing, the management of both Vibe+ and TV5 has not released a statement addressing the allegation.

This issue follows earlier unverified reports that the show had failed to compensate several of its food catering vendors. These previous payment issues were linked to the program’s ongoing financial difficulties, which are reportedly aggravated by low television ratings—a matter that the show’s executives have likewise left unaddressed.
