ABS-CBN Studios and Prime Video are set to launch a new thriller series, “The Loyalty Game,” starring Jericho Rosales and Janine Gutierrez. The suspense-filled drama will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on July 3.
The series centers on Ben, played by Jericho Rosales, a respected lawyer and senatorial candidate, and his wife Anna, portrayed by Janine Gutierrez. Viewed by many as the ideal couple, the pair appear to have a stable and successful relationship. However, hidden secrets threaten to disrupt their seemingly perfect life.
As doubts about her husband begin to grow, Anna hires a team of loyalty testers to investigate her suspicions. Her search for answers soon draws her into a complicated web of deception, shifting allegiances, and unexpected revelations.
During the show’s media launch, Rosales described the series as different from traditional television dramas.
“Iba yung tono ng show na ’to. This is darker, this is more intriguing, more captivating in terms of themes. They put fear in front of you that will make you watch it.”
Gutierrez also hinted at the twists and surprises awaiting viewers.
“Everything is underneath the surface. Even for us, the answers to the questions are revealed as the story progresses.”
According to creative manager Jay Fernando, the series goes beyond the typical infidelity-centered drama, exploring themes of loyalty, truth, and manipulation while reflecting the complexities of modern relationships.
Joining Rosales and Gutierrez in the cast are Charlie Dizon, Sofia Andres, Yassi Pressman, Yen Santos, Elisse Joson, Kira Balinger, Maika Rivera, and Carmina Villarroel. The series is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar.
“The Loyalty Game” begins streaming on Prime Video on July 3.
