Veteran showbiz reporter, radio host, and film producer Jobert Sucaldito has passed away at the age of 65, as announced Sunday on the OOTD Jobert and Chaps Channel’s social media page.
In their official statement, the channel shared that Sucaldito “passed away peacefully”
The post also expressed gratitude to his followers and supporters for their years of love, prayers, and continued support.
While an official cause of death was not released, film director Chaps Manansala had previously asked for prayers in July after Sucaldito was admitted to Providence Hospital in Quezon City, where he remained hospitalized for almost a month while battling anxiety and severe sleep deprivation.
Sucaldito was widely recognized for his decades-long career as a prominent voice and personality in Philippine entertainment journalism.
