Jerrold Tarog’s historical biographical drama “Quezon” has emerged as the most nominated contender for the 49th Gawad Urian Awards, securing 10 nods from the prestigious Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino.
The third installment in Tarog’s historical film franchise clinched nominations across major categories, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor for lead Jericho Rosales.
Close behind in the main categories are Kip Oebanda’s “Bar Boys: After School” and Antoinette Jadaone’s “Sunshine,” both of which picked up entries for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
