JERROLD TAROG’S ‘QUEZON’ LEADS 49TH GAWAD URIAN NOMINATIONS WITH 10 NODS

​Jerrold Tarog’s historical biographical drama “Quezon” has emerged as the most nominated contender for the 49th Gawad Urian Awards, securing 10 nods from the prestigious Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino.

​The third installment in Tarog’s historical film franchise clinched nominations across major categories, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor for lead Jericho Rosales.

​Close behind in the main categories are Kip Oebanda’s “Bar Boys: After School” and Antoinette Jadaone’s “Sunshine,” both of which picked up entries for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
