The debut solo film of the rising loveteam JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith—popularly known to fans as “JMFyang”—continues its stellar box office run.
Regal Entertainment confirmed that their romantic drama film, “Almost Us,” has officially breached the ₱30-million mark in gross earnings just two weeks after its theatrical release. Due to the overwhelming demand and consistent support from moviegoers, the film’s screening has been extended to over 90 cinemas nationwide as it enters its third week.
The film revolves around the story of best friends RR and Janine, who find themselves navigating deeper feelings as their relationship evolves. Along the way, they are forced to confront emotional uncertainties and the looming risk of breaking their long-standing friendship.
”Almost Us” is helmed by award-winning and critically acclaimed film and television director Dan Villegas. The box office hit is a joint production of Regal Entertainment and Project 8 Productions.
