GMA’s Heart of Asia channel is reviving the classic Pinoy teleserye experience for Kapuso viewers as it marks the return of its dedicated “ATINovelas” programming block this coming Saturday, May 23, 2026, following a two-year hiatus.
The channel officially announced the block’s comeback via a Facebook post today, May 20, 2026, revealing the 2016 romance-drama series The Millionaire’s Wife as its opening title. The series stars Andrea Torres, Mike Tan, and the late veteran actor Robert Arevalo.
The Millionaire’s Wife follows the story of Luisa (Torres), a hardworking nurse and single mother. In a bid to secure a good future and proper care for her child, she decides to marry her wealthy elderly patient, Ivan (Arevalo). However, their union faces fierce opposition from his family, especially after they uncover the truth about Luisa’s past relationship with another man, who coincidentally shares the same name, Ivan (Tan).
The “ATINovelas” block previously went off the air on February 10, 2024, concluding its run with the finale of the 2016 romantic-comedy drama Juan Happy Love Story.
Viewers can catch the return of The Millionaire’s Wife starting Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 5:30 PM on the Heart of Asia channel, available via Channel 3 on the GMA Affordabox, as well as other digital TV receivers and cable providers.
