After more than two decades, the beloved “Cosme” family is set to make a grand return, this time transitioning from the small screen to the cinema.
Riles Productions unveiled the official teaser trailer for “Home Along da Riles The Movie” on Wednesday, May 6. The film is a cinematic adaptation of the iconic 90s sitcom that originally aired on ABS-CBN Channel 2.
The original cast members are reunited for this project, featuring Nova Villa, Vandolph, Smokey Manaloto, Gio Alvarez, Boy2 Quizon, Claudine Barretto, Cita Astals, Maybelyn dela Cruz, and Dang Cruz. In addition to reprising his role, Boy2 Quizon is also taking the helm as the film’s director.
Scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on June 17, the movie serves as a special Father’s Day presentation.
It is also dedicated as a tribute to the late “King of Comedy” and the family’s patriarch, Dolphy, who would have celebrated his 98th birth anniversary this year.
