JMFYANGʼS DEBUT SOLO FILM “ALMOST US” SURPASSES ₱23M REVENUE, EXTENDED IN CINEMAS

​The debut solo film of the breakout tandem JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, titled “Almost Us,” is proving to be a certified commercial hit.

​According to data released by Regal Entertainment, the romantic comedy has amassed a total of ₱23 million as of May 12. The film, which held its nationwide premiere on Wednesday, May 6, reached this milestone in just nearly a week of theatrical screening.

​The production house confirmed that due to high demand and positive word-of-mouth, the movie has been extended in approximately 126 cinemas across the country. Directed by the award-winning filmmaker Dan Villegas, the project has successfully captured the interest of both dedicated fans and the general public.

​Regal Entertainment noted that the film’s success is bolstered by the warm reception it has received from both film critics and casual moviegoers alike.
