Football fans in the Philippines gathered at SM Aura Cinema for an exclusive live viewing event of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final, hosted at the venue’s Directors Club and SM Event Screen.
Presented by Visa, the watch party turned the luxury theater into a lively hub for the local football community, giving supporters the opportunity to catch the championship game together on the big screen.
The initiative aligns with SM Supermalls’ drive to deliver immersive experiences beyond traditional shopping and film screenings.
The festivities kicked off prior to kickoff with pre-game activities, photo booths, and networking opportunities. Attendees then enjoyed the match inside the Directors Club, which featured high-definition visuals and surround sound to capture the energy of every goal and save.
The event highlights SM Cinema’s effort to expand its offerings by hosting major live international sports and entertainment events.
The watch party was supported by several brand partners. Jollibee served as the Official Breakfast Partner, providing meals after the early-morning broadcast, alongside refreshments from Dunkin’, Glico, San Miguel, Purefoods, Coca-Cola, Indofine, and Ferna. Representatives from the local football scene, including players and fans from the 7’s Football League, were also in attendance.
