The easterlies will remain the dominant weather system affecting multiple regions of the country over the next 24 hours, according to the Saturday morning forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The state weather bureau noted that the easterlies will bring cloudy skies accompanied by scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across the Davao Region. Meanwhile, the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga are projected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
For Metro Manila and the remaining areas of the country, PAGASA indicated that localized thunderstorms may develop, bringing brief periods of rain.
”Easterlies affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao,” PAGASA stated in its official morning synopsis.
Mellow maritime conditions are expected nationwide, with light to moderate winds prevailing across the archipelago and coastal waters remaining slight to moderate.
Astronomical data provided by the bureau noted that the sun rose over Metro Manila at 5:27 a.m. and is scheduled to set early Saturday evening at 6:26 p.m.
