PAG-IBIG FUND AND DMCI HOMES TEAM UP TO OFFER AFFORDABLE CONDO OPTIONS FOR FILIPINOS

MAKATI CITY — The Pag-IBIG Fund and DMCI Homes have forged a partnership to provide Filipino homebuyers with expanded access to affordable condominium units through flexible housing loans under the government’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.

The memorandum of understanding was formally signed on Friday, October 16, at the Pag-IBIG Fund Corporate Headquarters in Makati City. Key officials present at the ceremony included Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon Aliling, Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Marilene Acosta, and DMCI Homes President Alfredo Austria, alongside other corporate executives.

Aliling lauded the collaboration, emphasizing its alignment with the administration’s housing initiatives.

“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has directed us to expand access to decent and affordable housing for Filipino families. By partnering with leading developers, we bring together private-sector expertise and Pag-IBIG Fund financing to offer members more housing choices and help advance the Expanded 4PH Program,” Aliling said.

Under the accord, DMCI Homes will designate participating residential developments and available units—including ready-for-occupancy properties—while extending special pricing and incentives to qualified Pag-IBIG members. In return, the agency will deliver accessible housing financing, loan counseling, and support services to prospective buyers.

Anissa Heights in Pasay City serves as the initial DMCI Homes project accredited under the initiative. Accreditation processes are also underway for various residential properties across Metro Manila, Bacoor City, and Davao City.

Acosta highlighted the broader scope and financial advantages brought by the joint venture.

“Through this partnership, we are working with DMCI Homes to give our members access to more condominium choices at preferential prices. Once the necessary accreditations are completed, we expect to offer up to 3,990 units. Combined with Pag-IBIG Fund’s affordable housing financing and promotional rates of 4.5% and 5.75% per annum, these options can help qualified members move closer to owning a home that meets their needs and budget. And with developments in accessible urban locations, more families can enjoy the convenience of living closer to their workplaces and essential services,” Acosta said.

Furthermore, prospective buyers can explore these properties at the upcoming 2nd National Housing Expo on October 19 and 20 at the SMX Convention Center Manila in the MOA Complex, Pasay City, where DMCI Homes and over 80 other developers will showcase housing options and provide on-site loan assistance.
