Malacañang recently defended the vigor of the current administration, characterizing President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as a “master of multitasking” who maintains a grueling pace to oversee national priorities.
During an aid distribution ceremony at the Batangas Province Events Center, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto highlighted the President’s high-energy approach to governance.

Recto noted that the 68-year-old leader frequently juggles back-to-back meetings and extensive fieldwork to ensure the steady progress of government programs.
“Kung nasa Palasyo, hindi naman mapakali ang master of multitasking. Kaliwa’t kanan ang mga pulong,” Recto remarked.
Beyond his daytime schedule, the Executive Secretary shared that the President often extends his working hours well into the night to review technical reports and monitor initiative milestones across the archipelago.
This disclosure served as a direct rebuttal to critics questioning the President’s physical well-being.

Recto dismissed such claims as baseless, asserting that the President’s stamina remains high.
“Tingin ko nga, inuunan pa sa gabi ang mga ulat. Kaya hindi po iyan ang diskarte ng isang ‘lowbat’ na lider, tulad ng paninira ng kakarampot na lantutay ang mga isip,” Recto stated.
Further emphasizing the President’s physical fitness, Recto took a swipe at political detractors by contrasting the President’s active mobility with rumors of infirmity.
“This is a high-energy presidency of a healthy leader. Walang wheelchair, walang tungkod, at hindi uugod-ugod,” he added.
The Palace maintains that the administration remains undeterred by political distractions, choosing instead to focus on tangible outcomes and public service.
Recto concluded by stressing that the administration’s priority is delivering visible results for the Filipino people.
“Ang mahalaga, may gawa, may resulta na nakikita. And perhaps, this is exactly the right spirit for today. Because in the middle of all the political noise, we are here to serve, work, and deliver,” Recto said.
