SM OFFICES TO BUILD NEW TOWERS IN QUEZON CITY

SM Offices, the commercial development division of SM Prime Holdings, has announced plans to build a new office tower in Quezon City as part of its ongoing nationwide expansion.

The upcoming project, named North Tower 3, will be situated within the SM North EDSA complex and will offer around 31,000 square meters of leasable office space.

The property has already obtained accreditation from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). This status allows tenant companies to take advantage of various tax incentives and investment benefits provided to registered businesses.

In terms of connectivity, North Tower 3 will feature a direct link to the North Triangle Unified Grand Central Station. This major transit hub will integrate the Metro Manila Subway, LRT Line 1, MRT Line 3, and MRT Line 7, significantly boosting accessibility for commuters and companies alike.

“Companies today are becoming more intentional about where they locate their operations. Aside from office space, they are looking for environments that help improve efficiency, accessibility and overall business resilience,” said SM Offices head Alexis Ortega.

“The synergy between SM Prime’s ecosystem and Quezon City’s business-friendly climate makes a compelling case for locators. Removing day-to-day friction allows them to focus on long-term growth,” he added.

SM Offices currently manages commercial spaces in several key hubs, including Taguig, Ortigas, Fairview, and Clark.

As part of its broader growth strategy, the company previously revealed plans to introduce over 60,000 square meters of leasable office space in Cebu City by the fourth quarter of the year.
