House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III issued a moving tribute to his late mother and his wife, Ann, describing them as the foundational “light” and silent heroes responsible for his success and personal character.
The House leader emphasized that the lessons instilled by his mother continue to serve as his moral compass in both his personal life and public service.
She is the first to wake, the last to rest, and the one who keeps giving—even when there is nothing left for herself,” the Speaker said.
Reflecting on his upbringing, Dy credited his mother for shaping his values, noting that her influence remains vibrant despite her passing.
The Speaker also expressed deep gratitude for his wife, Ann, whom he described as the “anchor” of their family.
He acknowledged the difficulty of balancing a life in public service, credits his wife for providing the stability and support necessary to lead.
Closing his message, Dy extended his greetings to all Filipino mothers, recognizing their selfless dedication and vital role in nation-building through the family unit.
