TAGUIG CITY, Philippines — The 40th Negros Trade Fair generated ₱118 million in total revenue following a strong performance at SM Aura, anchored by a 39 percent surge in direct consumer purchases.
Organized by the Association of Negros Producers (ANP) under the theme BUTLAK 2026, the six-day showcase ran from September 22 to 27 in partnership with the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and the SM Group.
According to figures released by the ANP, spot sales accounted for ₱75 million of the total figure, representing an increase from ₱54 million recorded in 2025. This ₱21 million jump in direct retail activity was complemented by ₱43 million in business-to-business (B2B) transactions, which included commercial orders and partnerships forged with institutional buyers, distributors, and retailers.
The trade group noted that the strong sales metrics highlight sustained market demand across Metro Manila for Negrense craftsmanship, cuisine, fashion design, and creative innovation.
Last year’s edition of the long-running regional event drew over 41,000 visitors and achieved ₱151.5 million in total sales.
