Actress-singer Ashtine Olviga, dubbed the “Nation’s Mutya,” remains unfazed by the fabricated narratives and rumors being spread by detractors against her on social media.
In an exclusive interview with entertainment journalist MJ Marfori, Olviga expressed her belief that it is better to ignore baseless claims that do not deserve attention, specifically addressing a malicious spliced video that recently circulated online.
“Actually naguguluhan din po ako sa mga nangyayari, minsan kasi may mga bagay na parang huwag mo na masyadong intindihin at pagtuunan ng pansin kasi parang non-sense lang sya, sayang ang energy, lalo na kung minsan gawa-gawa lang sya kaya focus on the good things,” the actress said.
The interview took place during the annual Mega Magazine Ball, a premiere fashion and lifestyle event held on June 12, where the actress showcased a glamorous, elegant, and sophisticated look.

Moving forward from the controversy, Olviga is scheduled to perform on the iconic Wish 107.5 Bus at Riverbanks, Marikina City on June 16. The radio gig is part of the promotional campaign for her upcoming debut solo concert, titled “Love Like Ashtine,” which will take place at the New Frontier Theater on August 22.
