BIAZON WARNS CITY WORKERS OF DISMISSAL OVER LAW VIOLATIONS

Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon issued a strict warning to city government personnel, cautioning that employees who break the law risk losing their jobs in public service.

Biazon voiced his frustration following social media posts detailing city employees committing traffic and legal infractions, including an worker caught riding a motorcycle without a helmet.

While past offenders were summoned to his office for an explanation, the mayor made it clear he will no longer tolerate repeated misconduct.

Biazon emphasized that city personnel—especially those responsible for upholding rules—must adhere to the very standards they enforce.

“It is not tolerable anymore. Nawawalan tayo ng kredibilidad bilang law enforcers at bilang public servants,” he said.

Calling for strict discipline and personal accountability, the mayor urged all municipal staff to protect the local government’s integrity by remaining law-abiding citizens.
