JERALD AND KIM IN NO RUSH TO START A FAMILY

Months after tying the knot in March, celebrity couple Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina revealed that starting a family is not yet their top priority as they continue to focus on their bustling careers.

While family planning remains on their radar, both actors are currently consumed by back-to-back projects. Molina expressed deep gratitude for her husband’s patience and understanding regarding their timeline.

“We have talked about it and I just feel very blessed that Jerald is very understanding. Parati niyang sinasabi na, ‘If I am ready, then, dun pa lang.’ And ako naman, kung ibi-bless kami ni Lord ng baby, why not? Pero, yun nga, we’re not rushing,” she said.

The actress hinted that they might revisit the idea of having children in 2025 once their current schedules settle down.

“Siguro next year? Kasi ngayon ang dami pa pong nangyayari. We’re both so busy. Marami pa kasi kaming inaasikaso. Malalaman ninyo rin yan soon,” she said.

Napoles fully backed his wife’s stance, emphasizing that their current focus is maximizing their professional opportunities.

“Bubuwelo lang kami kasi this year, madaming trabaho,” he said.

The couple is enjoying a productive year. Napoles is actively promoting his latest film, “Ang Pinakamasarap na Pares sa Balat ng Lupa,” while appearing in the ABS-CBN primetime action series “Coco Martin’s Sigabo.”

Meanwhile, Molina’s career has reached a new peak, earning her the title “Dramedy Queen” following the success of her Netflix features “Wonderful Nightmare” and “Un-Ex You.”

Addressing his wife’s new title, Napoles noted that Molina was initially surprised by the honor, though he firmly believes her talent earned it.

“Kasi I think it’s the performance also bukod sa materyal.”

Their shared success recently secured them their first major brand ambassadorship together as the official faces of the Japanese restaurant chain Botejyu.

“We feel very blessed nga kasi we’re fans of Boteyju. We always make it a point to visit a branch talaga kasi we like their menu,” they said.

Looking ahead, Napoles remains enthusiastic about future projects while keeping a humorous outlook on their work lives.

“E kami naman, we’re ready for anything,” he said.

“Ready ako sa lahat ng ibibigay ninyo, lalo na kung may pera, game ako diyan.”

Humor aside, Napoles affirmed that they remain selective about the commitments they accept as a team.

“Siyempre, in whatever we do, we make sure we like the project. Gagawin lang din namin kung naniniwala kami sa proyekto, be it an endorsement, a film or series.”
