Is veteran actress and TV host Kris Aquino gearing up for a television comeback?
Speculation surged after Kris and her son, Eat… Bulaga! co-host Bimby Aquino-Yap, met with key ABS-CBN Music executives Roxy Liquigan and Jonathan Manalo. Manalo shared a photo of the gathering online, teasing fans without revealing specifics.
”Last night’s productive meeting,” Manalo wrote in his caption.
The post triggered immediate excitement among netizens eager to see the Queen of All Media return to the spotlight. Also attending the meeting were Darla Sauler and Jasmin Pallera, former key production figures from her hit morning show Kris TV.
The meeting also highlights Bimby’s growing interest in music. Currently managed by Cornerstone Entertainment, the 18-year-old has been actively pursuing vocal training.
”My 18-year-old has for now decided to continue with his singing lessons with coach Thor (plus some super star ‘titos’ who have volunteered to teach him about stage presence and how to make audience rapport fun for all),” Kris previously shared in an Instagram post.
”From the time he was 11, he’s been my companion every time I’ve had to be put to sleep for the numerous procedures I have undergone. A singing doctor — thank you, hunny, for being the embodiment of what mama had wished for,” she added.
Bimby is no stranger to ABS-CBN Music. As a child, he was featured as “Baby James” on Kris’s 2009 “edu-taining” project, We Are 1, released under Star Records to encourage mother-child bonding through music and spoken-word passages.
