The Philippine adaptation of the hit French comedy-drama series Call My Agent!, retitled Call My Manager, is scheduled to premiere on the streaming service HBO Max on August 13, featuring award-winning actress Judy Ann Santos in the leading role.
The eight-episode HBO Original series is produced by Reality MM Studios under the direction of prominent filmmakers Erik Matti and Dondon Monteverde, as first reported by Variety.
The narrative follows three talent managers as they navigate the chaotic professional demands and personal drama of their high-profile celebrity clients, all while fighting to keep their boutique talent agency afloat.
Alongside Santos, the main ensemble features veteran actor Edu Manzano and RK Bagatsing.
Prior to its global streaming launch, the first two episodes of the series made their public debut during the QCinema International Film Festival on November 15 and 16, 2025.
During the festival, Matti took to social media to characterize the production as a genuine love letter to the local entertainment scene.
”About three years ago, right after the pandemic, we did a show that was close to me and Dondon Monteverde‘s heart. We adapted the cult French series ‘10%’ otherwise known as ‘Call My Agent.’ This project is as much a tribute to show business as it is an irreverent and candid look at what we hate and love about our industry. Except for the main characters in the show that are fictional, every celebrity guest comes in as themselves. Buti game sila,” Erik wrote.
The director further noted that the show effectively balances the charm and volatility of working within the entertainment sector.
Para sa mga tsismoso at tsismosa at mga intrigera, watch this to see why we love this crazy world we’re in,” he said.
Alongside Call My Manager, HBO Max is expanding its Southeast Asian lineup with Come Dine With Me: Celebrity Philippines, a localized version of the British reality format featuring 20 Filipino personalities, set to drop on July 23.
The platform’s regional expansion also includes two Taiwanese original series, Fired Up! and The Producer, as well as the Indonesian film The Invisible Guest.
