‘RATED KORINA’ SET TO RETURN TO TV5 SOON

ABS-CBN’s longest-running magazine show, “Rated Korina,” is set to return to TV5 after a few months away.

The Kapatid Network officially announced the show’s comeback during its midyear trade event held at its headquarters in Mandaluyong City on Thursday, August 6.

”Rated Korina” originally made its TV5 debut in 2020 under Brightlight Productions, shortly after ABS-CBN was denied a new broadcast franchise. Production rights returned to the Kapamilya Network three years later when host Korina Sanchez-Roxas signed a co-production deal with ABS-CBN in 2023.

Following the end of the partnership between ABS-CBN and TV5 on the first day of 2026, “Rated Korina” was among the Kapamilya programs migrated to the network’s current free-TV home, “ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2.”

First launching as “Balitang K” in 1996 before rebranding to “Rated K” in 2004, the show has long been a beloved weekend staple for Filipino viewers.

While TV5 has yet to disclose the official premiere date for its return, the program is expected to simulcast on Sundays at 3:30 PM across Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2.
