Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez has extended her milestone anniversary concert series, adding a third show to accommodate fans eager to celebrate her 40th year in the music industry.
The newly scheduled performance will take place on October 19 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Ticket sales for the additional night will open on August 30 at 6 p.m. across all SM Tickets Outlets and through their official online platform.
Organizers mounted the third show following rapid ticket sales for the initial two dates. Passes for the second performance were completely snapped up within just nine minutes, while tickets for the opening night on October 17 sold out in 45 minutes.
The “FINALE” concert series features stage direction by Paolo Valenciano alongside musical direction by Raul Mitra. The live shows serve as a main anchor for Velasquez’s four-decade career milestone.
Additionally, followers can anticipate an intimate look into her life and artistic evolution through the upcoming documentary “SONGBIRD”.
Set to premiere next year, the film will chronicle her personal journey, storied career, and behind-the-scenes preparation for the anniversary concert.
