SB19 MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST HOMEGROWN FILIPINO ACT TO PERFORM AT LOLLAPALOOZA CHICAGO

P-pop sensation SB19 is set to break new ground this summer as they become the first homegrown Filipino group to take the stage at Chicago’s prestigious Lollapalooza music festival. The quintet—composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin—will deliver a high-octane, hour-long performance during the festival’s opening day on July 30.

The group is scheduled to perform from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (local Chicago time) on the Allianz stage, one of the event’s premier platforms. For fans tuning in from the Philippines, the historic set will air from 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on July 31.

SB19 joins an elite roster of global talent at Lollapalooza 2026, sharing the bill with headliners such as Charli XCX, Lorde, Jennie Kim, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Their Allianz stage appearance places them in the company of diverse acts including Pearly Drops, Bad Nerves, Audrey Hobert, and Wet Leg.

The inclusion of the “Kings of P-pop” in the Chicago lineup follows a banner year for Filipino music on the global stage. Last April, the “Nation’s Girl Group” BINI made history as the first Filipino act to perform at Coachella. Both groups are also slated to appear at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival later this year, further cementing the international rise of Filipino pop music.

Other notable performers in this year’s massive four-day lineup include Aespa, The Chainsmokers, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Filipino-British artist Beabadoobee.
