Veteran broadcast journalist Ted Failon and radio personality Czarina Balba-Guevara, widely known as DJ ChaCha, are staying with the Kapatid Network following a formal contract renewal with the Nation Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), a subsidiary of MediaQuest Holdings that operates 105.9 True FM.
Key executives attended the signing ceremony, including MediaQuest Holdings President Ricky Vargas, TV5 President Guido Zaballero, MediaQuest Holdings Chief Financial Officer Christopher Lizo, and News5 Head Patrick Paez.
Failon and Guevara originally moved to TV5’s network in 2020 following the franchise denial of ABS-CBN, continuing their partnership to deliver high-quality news coverage to Filipino audiences.
The duo continues to host their daily program, “Ted Failon at DJ ChaCha,” which airs on 105.9 True FM and broadcasts on free TV via TV5’s sister station, RPTV.
