QUEZON CITY, Philippines — TV5 has earned multiple nominations across television programming and news personality categories at the 29th Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Golden Dove Awards.
The network secured two entries in the Best Newscast category with news broadcasts Una Sa Lahat and flagship program Frontline Pilipinas. In the Best Public Service Program category, TV5 scored double nods with Kapatid Mo, Idol Raffy Tulfo and Face To Face Harapan.
Religious broadcast Oras ng Katotohanan earned a nomination for Best Public Affairs Program, while long-running broadcast EAT… Bulaga! secured a spot in the Best Variety Program lineup. Top 5 Mga Kuwentong Marc Logan received a nomination for Best Magazine Program.
In the specials category, Protesta—News5’s special coverage of the September 21, 2025 mass demonstrations concerning flood-control project anomalies—was nominated for Best Special Program.
Several TV5 anchors and hosts received individual recognitions:
- Julius Babao and Apostle Jonathan Ferriol (Oras ng Katotohanan) are both nominated for Best Public Affairs Host.
- Korina Sanchez-Roxas earned a nomination for Best Public Service Host.
In technical and promotional categories, the network’s advocacy campaign TV5: Stay Safe Kapatid was named a finalist for Best Public Service Announcement, while its 2025 station ID, Walang Patid Ang Paskong Kapatid, gained a nomination for Best Station Promotional Materials (Television).
The KBP Golden Dove Awards honors outstanding television and radio stations, programs, public service initiatives, and broadcast personalities across Metro Manila and provincial networks nationwide.
