VIBE PLUS, the Philippines’ fan-powered Original Pilipino Music (OPM) countdown show, kicked off its first-anniversary celebrations with high-energy performances from top Filipino acts and rising talent.
The anniversary showcase opened with the VIBE JOCKS and Star Worx delivering a medley of hit tracks, including “Tala,” “Salamin, Salamin,” and “GENTO”. Pop artist Maymay Entrata later joined VIBE JOCK Gigi on stage for performances of “Masunog Man” and “Amakabogera”.

Reflecting on the personal inspiration behind “Masunog Man,” Maymay shared the emotional story of her late mother:
Maymay, who is celebrating her 10th anniversary in show business, also highlighted her latest single “What We Loved,” describing it as a track focused on hope, joy, and finding true love.

The anniversary special featured further tributes to OPM hits, with Star Worx artists interpreting tracks by SB19. Emerging P-pop group DNA made their debut performance on the VIBE SPOT stage with their single “Spider,” which group member Ezra explained centers on the internal anxieties and struggles people navigate.
The broadcast transitioned to band performances on LEGIT VIBE, featuring the Dodong Cruz Band performing “Mukha Ng Pera”—a track addressing wealth, values, and faith—and Bandang Lapis delivering “Sana’y Di Na Lang,” which deals with heartbreak and regret.
Honoring OPM icons, VIBE JOCKS Ana and Carmela opened a special segment with a rendition of “Kunin Mo Na Ang Lahat Sa Akin,” followed by Elha Nympha performing “Lipad Ng Pangarap.” OPM artist Angeline Quinto then took the stage to perform her original tracks “At Ang Hirap” and her winning piece “Patuloy Ang Pangarap,” joined by Ana, Carmela, and Elha.

Celebrating her 15th year in the entertainment industry, Quinto expressed gratitude to her supporters since her 2010 start on Star Power. She promoted her upcoming 15th-anniversary concert, “AQUIN15E,” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, featuring guest appearances by the Divine Divas, Baby Dolls, Skusta Clee, Enchong Dee, Erik Santos, Martin Nievera, and Regine Velasquez.
Organizers noted that the anniversary festivities will continue in upcoming broadcasts featuring rock band Rivermaya and singer-composer Ogie Alcasid.
