MUSE COMMUNICATIONS UNVEILS 12-TITLE FALL 2026 ANIME BROADCAST SLATE ACROSS ASIA

Regional anime distributor Muse Communications has officially unveiled its Fall 2026 broadcast slate, featuring 12 new and returning anime titles set to premiere throughout October 2026. The expansive seasonal catalog encompasses high-profile fantasy sequels, dark romance manga adaptations, spin-offs from established franchises, and original mecha and slice-of-life productions scheduled for distribution across major streaming platforms and Muse’s official YouTube channels across Asia.

Leading the returning series lineup is The Detective Is Already Dead. Season 2, premiering Wednesday, October 7, at 21:30 GMT+8, as protagonist Kimihiko Kimizuka faces new mysteries following his meeting with classmate Nagisa Natsunagi. Isekai fantasy-comedy Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 also returns on October 7 at 21:00 GMT+8 with a special one-hour premiere episode, continuing the multi-realm adventures of corporate worker Sasaki and his reincarnated sage bird, Peeps.

Action fantasy fans will see the return of A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2 on Thursday, October 8, at 01:15 GMT+8, following Desir Herrman’s battle to conquer the Shadow Labyrinth, alongside The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System Part 2, which kicked off the seasonal roster on October 2 at 23:56 GMT+8 as protagonists Elymas and Ruche enter the city of adventurers. Completing the returning lineup, sports anime Ace of the Diamond actII -Second Season- Part 2 debuts on Sunday, October 11, at 17:00 GMT+8, focusing on ace pitcher Sawamura Eijun, Furuya, and captain Miyuki during their final summer tournament together at Seido High School.

Muse’s Fall 2026 slate introduces several highly anticipated adaptations, led by the historical josei dark romance Firefly Wedding, debuting Saturday, October 10, at 00:00 GMT+8. Based on the popular manga, the story follows terminally ill heiress Satoko Kirigaya, who proposes marriage to hired assassin Shimpei Goto to survive a deadly kidnapping scheme. Expanding A Certain Magical Index universe, A Certain Dark Item debuts Friday, October 9, at 23:30 GMT+8, spotlighting the covert Academy City underground unit ITEM comprising Takitsubo Rikou, Frenda Seivelun, Kinuhata Saiai, and Level 5 Esper Mugino Shizuri.

Rounding out the Fall slate are two original animated works. Original mecha and sci-fi series Beast King War God Dandivine (DANDIVINE) premieres Thursday, October 8, at 01:00 GMT+8, following high school student Gekiha Shijima as he boards the combining robot Dandivine to fight returning invaders and save his family’s struggling toy company. For slice-of-life audiences, Rilakkuma airs new episodes weekly on Saturdays at 09:00 GMT+8, bringing the iconic mascot into a new animated journey.
