ABS-CBN STUDIOS TO EXPAND TV5 WEEKDAY PROGRAMMING

Entertainment content from ABS-CBN Studios is expected to take up additional weekday slots on TV5 following the scheduled conclusion of two of the network’s ongoing drama programs in October.

TV5’s romantic drama “A Secret in Prague” and inspirational series “My Bespren Emman” are both set to air their respective finales on October 2, paving the way for changes to the network’s programming lineup.

Starting October 5, “A Secret in Prague,” which features Enrique Gil and Andrea Brillantes, will be replaced by the Kapamilya series “The Loyalty Game,” starring Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales.

Originally released on Amazon Prime, “The Loyalty Game” follows Ana (Janine), who seeks the help of social media loyalty testers to find out whether her husband, Ben (Jericho), is truly faithful to her.

TV5 has yet to reveal the replacement for “My Bespren Emman,” leaving the series’ timeslot open for a new program.

Among the possible additions is an upcoming teleserye produced by ABS-CBN and RCD Narratives. The production has already released photo teasers for the project, which is reportedly being prepared for an October premiere.

Another Kapamilya series, the romantic drama “Love is Never Gone,” starring Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi, is also scheduled to join TV5’s programming lineup in November.

The latest changes further expand ABS-CBN’s entertainment footprint on TV5, which already airs several programs from the Kapamilya network.

Its current ABS-CBN offerings include the movie block “Blockbusters sa Umaga,” the pre-primetime game show “Minute To Win It,” and the teleseryes “Coco Martin’s Sigabo” and “Someone Someday.”
