ABS-CBN Corporation has officially updated its registered business address following the sale of a significant portion of its longtime headquarters in Quezon City to property developer Ayala Land Inc.
The media company is now formally registered at the Eugenio Lopez Jr. Communications Center, located within the 1.4-hectare property it retained after the transaction.
Previously, ABS-CBN’s registered business address was listed as the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, situated at the corner of Sgt. Esguerra Avenue and Mother Ignacia Street in Quezon City.
The change comes after the Lopez-led media company agreed in February 2025 to sell approximately three hectares of its property to Ayala Land for ₱6.24 billion. The proceeds from the transaction were intended to help the company reduce its outstanding debts.
The property sale covered a substantial portion of the historic compound, which had served as the home of ABS-CBN’s studios, offices, and iconic 220-meter broadcast tower for decades.
Despite the transaction, ABS-CBN will continue operating within its longtime Quezon City compound, with its retained property now serving as its officially registered business location.
The company confirmed that the change of address has been recorded with both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), completing the necessary updates to its corporate registration.
The development marks an administrative change for ABS-CBN following its multibillion-peso property transaction with Ayala Land, while the media company maintains its presence at the remaining portion of its historic headquarters.
