COCO MARTIN’S “SIGABO” SCORES STRONG RATINGS ON ITS FIRST TWO DAYS

The latest action-comedy series from ABS-CBN Studios, “Coco Martin’s Sigabo,” has kicked off with impressive viewership numbers during its first two days of broadcast.

According to data from survey firm AGB Nielsen’s National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), the new Kapamilya series—headlined by real-and-reel life partners Coco Martin and Julia Montes—garnered a combined rating of 8.2% across Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, and ABS-CBN on ALLTV2 during its pilot episode on Monday, June 22.

This performance narrowly trailed its 8:00 PM timeslot rival, GMA Network’s “The Master Cutter,” which registered 8.4%. However, “Sigabo” bounced back on Tuesday, June 23, capturing the top spot for the same timeslot with 8.4% against “The Master Cutter’s” 8.0%.

Data from another major survey agency, Fifty5Blue (formerly known as Kantar Media), reflected a similarly tight race. On Monday, “Sigabo” posted a 13.8% pilot rating, closely shadowing the 13.9% of “The Master Cutter.” By Tuesday, the Kapamilya show climbed to 14.8%, while its rival network counterpart drew 15.0%.

Beyond traditional television, “Sigabo” demonstrated immense strength in online streaming. The pilot episode drew an impressive 415,061 concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live, with viewership climbing even higher to 428,141 concurrent viewers on Tuesday. The series also generated significant online traction via TV5’s Kapatid Livestream.

”Coco Martin’s Sigabo” airs weeknights from Monday to Friday at 8:00 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWant, The Filipino Channel (TFC), A2Z, TV5, and ABS-CBN on ALLTV2.
