Filipino pop sensation SB19 is accelerating its international expansion after officially signing a worldwide representation deal with United Talent Agency (UTA).
The prominent American entertainment agency announced the partnership across its social media channels, marking a massive milestone for the quintet as they gear up for major international stages.
“UTA has signed multi-award-winning, chart-topping Filipino music group SB19 for global representation in all areas, including live touring and brand partnerships,” the agency said.
UTA recognized the group’s meteoric rise since debuting in 2018, emphasizing that they have evolved into one of Southeast Asia’s most dominant musical forces. The agency pointed out that the band has accumulated more than one billion streams globally, backed by a deeply devoted international fanbase called A’TIN.
The five-member group recently rolled out their album Wakas at Simula, driven by the standout single Visa.
The talent giant also lauded the historic accolades SB19 has secured on the global charts:
“The group was the first Southeast Asian and Filipino act to be nominated in the ‘Top Social Artist’ category at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021 and they are also the first Filipino act to chart on the international Billboard Social 50 and Next Big Sound charts, as well as land at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs with ‘Bazinga’ in 2021, followed by the hit ‘GENTO.’”
This upcoming summer season, the trailblazing group will break barriers as the very first homegrown Filipino artists to take the stage at the prestigious Lollapalooza festival, alongside a highly anticipated appearance at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival.
“Welcome to the family,” UTA added.
Established in 1991, UTA stands as a premier global talent powerhouse, managing top-tier icons across music, cinema, sports, and digital platforms.
By joining a legendary roster that boasts names like Cardi B, Bad Bunny, Christina Aguilera, and Guns N’ Roses, SB19 is strategically poised to capture unprecedented global visibility and continue leading the wave for Filipino talent worldwide.
