GMA NETWORK LEADS TRUSTED TV STATIONS; ABS-CBN TOPS DIGITAL NEWS CATEGORY

​GMA Network has been named the most trusted television station in the Philippines, while ABS-CBN Corporation took the top spot in the digital/hybrid news category, according to the latest Pahayag survey released by Publicus Asia.

​The nationwide poll, conducted from June 28 to 30 among 1,509 respondents, evaluated public trust across various Philippine media platforms.

​In television broadcasting, GMA Network earned a leading 41% trust rating, outperforming TV5/News5, which secured 26%, and Net 25, which garnered 18%.

​ABS-CBN dominated the digital and hybrid media landscape, capturing a 38% trust rating. NewsWatch Plus followed in second place at 24%, with Rappler polling at 20%.

​For radio platforms, DZMM Radyo Patrol 630—jointly operated by ABS-CBN and Prime Media Holdings—led with a 24% trust rating. Bombo Radyo and GMA Network’s DZBB Super Radyo shared the second position, each registering a 22% score.

​In print media, the Philippine Daily Inquirer emerged as the most trusted newspaper with a 32% rating, closely followed by the Manila Bulletin at 30% and The Philippine Star at 29%.

​The survey offers a comprehensive overview of the media outlets Filipinos rely on and trust most across print, radio, digital, and traditional television.
