QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Former housemate Michael Sager is returning to Pinoy Big Brother, shifting from contestant to presenter as part of the hosting ensemble for the upcoming Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0.
Official social media pages for the reality show confirmed on October 5 that Sager will join mainstay hosts Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros, Enchong Dee, Gabbi Garcia, and Alexa Ilacad for the program’s latest collaborative season.
Sager shared his excitement online following the announcement, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to step back into the franchise under a different capacity.
“Hello Philippines, Hello world, we are so back! Grateful to be given a new task by kuya… this time as his host,” Sager wrote.
Sager first joined the franchise during the initial PBB Celebrity Collab Edition in 2025, where he competed alongside Kapuso actor Emilio Daez as the duo “MiLi.” The pair exited the competition during the third eviction night on April 26, 2025, after securing 29.12% of the public vote.
Before entering the house, Sager had re-shared a 2020 post detailing his dream of becoming a housemate to recount his experiences growing up away from his family in Canada. Following his stint, he reflected on fulfilling that ambition, describing the moment as happening in “God’s perfect timing.”
The upcoming PBB Collab 3.0 marks the third co-production between ABS-CBN and GMA Network following previous collaborative seasons that produced winning pairs Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca, as well as Lella Ford and Caprice Cayetano.
Unlike earlier editions centered on celebrities, the new season will feature regular housemates aged 18 to 35 selected from global auditions, and will take place in a newly constructed Bahay ni Kuya.
Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0 is set to premiere in October 2026.
