After a hiatus of nearly three years, the production team behind the country’s longest-running noontime variety show, “Eat… Bulaga!”, officially regained control of its original Facebook page on Wednesday night, May 20.
The recovery was marked by an immediate update to the page’s profile and cover photos, showcasing the branding of the current Kapatid network noontime show.

Following the digital handover, the page promptly resumed hosting live broadcasts and streaming episodic snippets of the program.

The iconic page, boasting over 19 million followers, was last utilized on May 31, 2023. This was the exact day the legendary comedic trio of Senate Minority Leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ) announced their departure from their former television producer, Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE).
During the height of the trademark dispute between TAPE Inc. and TVJ Productions over the “Eat… Bulaga!” brand, the original page was temporarily hidden from public view, forcing the show to establish alternative social media accounts. The legal battle eventually concluded with a victory for TVJ.
Aside from the Facebook page, TVJ Productions has successfully reclaimed ownership of the show’s other official digital assets on YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram, though these accounts have yet to be fully activated.
“Eat… Bulaga!” continues to air from Monday to Friday at 12:00 NN and Saturdays at 11:25 AM on TV5, RPTV, and the Kapatid Channel, as well as through the official social media handles of TV5, TVJ Productions, and the newly restored “Eat… Bulaga!” page.
