Star Cinema has officially announced that its latest romantic drama, “Tayo Sa Wakas,” grossed an estimated ₱70 million during its opening week in theaters.
The film is produced by Star Cinema, the film production outfit of ABS-CBN, and is helmed by renowned director Cathy Garcia-Sampana. It features the popular Kapamilya on-screen partnership of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.
The plot centers on Cisco and Cheska, a long-term couple whose diverging professional aspirations begin to drive them apart. Facing the strain of their individual goals, they opt to go on a planned “breakup trip” to figure out if they should part ways for good or try to save their romance.
Currently entering its second week in local theaters, “Tayo Sa Wakas” remains available in cinemas across the country. Moviegoers can purchase tickets through the film’s official portal at tayosawakas.com.
The movie is also scheduled to roll out internationally later this month, with screenings lined up in various territories including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Guam, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, and parts of the Middle East.
